Our Story
We come from a long line of Badass MFG’er’s.
One grandfather was a car body man, one grandfather was a journeyman drywaller, dad was a concrete man, brothers were carpenters, and I worked in varying trades for several years. I guess you could say working with my hands is in the blood. But I traded in my jeans and work boots for business attire to join the corporate rank and file. I did well but the daily accomplishment of answering 150 emails didn’t seem like much of an accomplishment at all. Then in 2020 the virus thing happened, company was hit hard and the demand for soft skills went down the drain. So, there I was, the safety net pulled away and my wife said she thought it was time for me to enter the world of making and woodworking. After all, there were no more excuses.
Now after a year of working out the kinks, here we are doing our best to find a way for this little dream to work.
We provide classically designed, durable, and quality products with sustainability in mind. Our pieces are meant to be used for years, maybe even usable heirlooms that are in the family for a long time and don’t end up in a landfill. The natural materials provided to us should be respected, sustainably sourced, and curated for a purpose greater than the latest home décor trend. In short, I make swanky stuff with blue-collar heart.
Today, we fill order for deliveries across the country, and you can find us at local vendor shows throughout North San Diego County. We also have a small showcase at Urban Barn in Escondido. We can't wait to work with you!
